Defining hair color style around the world, Johns began his career in the beauty industry at Cinandre. Johns then worked as a color director for Jean Louis David in Henri Bendel’s, Clive Summers, Bruno Dessange, Oribe at Elizabeth Arden and as artistic director for Avon Salon & Spa.

Johns’ core philosophy is simple: hair color should compliment the eyes first, the skin second and the season third. The shade range in which someone should stay is determined by their childhood hair color. Johns’ individual approach to hair color has made him a favorite among the film, modeling and music industries.
